It would be frankly ridiculous for any player to pledge their undying love for their club in 2017. Loyalty doesn’t exist, in a game riddled with money and wet through to the marrow of its very bones in the desire for status.
Loyalty by some strange quirk has been mentioned quite sincerely twice already today.
