Danny Rose Masterminds £15M Hijack

By The Boy -

In an unprecedented move, Tottehnam Hotspur have undertaken a fresh initiative to entice more fresh meat to the Levy & Co. conveyor belt exciting new players to White Hart Lane.

Liverpool may have sent managing director Ian Ayre to the Ukraine back in January, but he failed to broker a deal with winger Yevhen Konoplyanka.

Where I believe Liverpool went wrong, was they failed to provide player affidavits. It is my considered opinion that Danny Rose’s words could wellswing the deal.

You look at the best teams and they do well when they do have a manager to work with for a long time. Everyone loves Tim and the coaching staff.

You don’t know what’s going to happen. We just want the fans to stick by us and obviously we would like a bit of continuity with a manager and we’ll all be fighting to put it right, to get the top four maybe next season.”

Dnipro president Ihor Kolomoyskyi’s comments do seem to suggest Rose’s “come on in, the water’s lovely” approach is well placed.

I have contact with the Tottenham president. I am talking with him. He is interested in Konoplyanka. We are in the stage of negotiations and are perhaps close to signing a contract if Yehven agrees.

I would choose Tottenham – London – not Liverpool. There are matches only once or twice a week, and at other times he will still need somewhere to live.

I believe London life is preferable to Liverpool.”

The issue to flag up here, is that whilst this is clearly a potential deal, it would be another player bought off a spreadsheet. Another player that would be “inflicted” upon the manager of Tottenham Hostpur next season.

Oy vey.
