Costa Off The Boil Kane Can’t Stop Scoring

By The Boy -

Charlie Nicholas said: “This is such a tough one to call. With one win each against each other and so many similarities to how they function, I can see extra-time, potentially even penalties.

“You look at the differences in their line-ups and it’s really tough to pick them apart. Both defences are so solid and then their attacking, creative players are also similar.

“Eden Hazard and Dele Alli are the big two match winners here, not just in terms of goals, but creating chances for their strikers.

“However, it’s probably that department where I edge towards Spurs, with Diego Costa going off the boil, willing to fight and scrap but not scoring goals, whereas you know Harry Kane will score if he gets a couple of chances.”

One of Spurs greatest strengths this season has been that our goals have come from all over the park. It feels as if Hugo Lloris is just about the only player not to have hit the back of the net.

Costa has scored 17 times in the league, opposed to Kane’s 20 times. However Kane is on average scoring every 100 minutes whereas the AntHillMob reject is only averaging a goal every 157 minutes.

Costa’s form has slumped.

In his last 10 Premier League appearances, the Spanish oik has only hit the onion sack twice.

By some stark contrast, the boy Kane is on fire with 10 goals in as many league games.

So who would you back to score today, the disagreeable primate or family man and all-round nice guy Harry Kane?
