Spurs are as good as a point ahead of the Italians for the win tonight with the bookies.

It’s 6/5 the Spurs, 5/2 the draw (90 minutes) and 23/10 Juventus for the away win.

Both teams to score has to be knocking on free money even at 3/4 whereas you will only be rewarded in the next life, not this for predicting Spurs to win in 90 minutes, which is 4/9.

Another punt of note has to be both sides to score in the second half, which is 11/5.

Extra Time prices are superb however, almost irresistibly so. Spurs to win in Extra Time is 33/1, on penalties gawd help us is 40/1.

Will Dele manage to get his diving act together? A penalty awarded is 3/1.

Spurs Out The Traps if we can beat the visitors at their own game and score in the first 15 minutes, that’s 4/1.

*There’s a special offer online with Boylesports, namely you can double winnings paid as a free bet in all markets if either side hit the crossbar. Again, I don’t get paid by this firm, I just like their style.Β

Away goals count double! Gotta love them away goals.
    Any draw – we win!
Score 1 – they have to score 3!
In times gone past we would have choked. I don’t believe these boys are chokers.

Spurs to comeback from a goal down to win 3-1 on the night is my predication. I hope we get the first goal to ease the nerves but feel that they will come out real fast and catch us napping like last time.

    • caveman March 7, 2018 at 6:12 pm

To be caught napping once is forgivable, but twice, Poch doesn’t do twice.

  • Melcyid March 7, 2018 at 5:50 pm

We should be able to beat an old lady

Juve will be a different prospect tonight. Matuidi is a great player who will balance their midfield much better than they had in Turin and then the added threat from Dybala is also a massive boost for them.
The away goals is an advantage but we need to produce our best form of the season tonight to get though and I think we can do it!

    • Dusty March 7, 2018 at 6:11 pm

I could be wrong but was sure that i saw on Sky Sports that Matuidi was injured and not playing. Lets hope so.

      • Dusty March 7, 2018 at 6:19 pm

Apologies it was Cuadrado they spoke about. πŸ™‚

        • πŸ’‹ March 7, 2018 at 6:21 pm

          Get it right, son. Tsk.

  • SpurAndy πŸ’Ο€ March 7, 2018 at 5:43 pm

They’ll be concerned about Kane. They’ll know that he’ll get chances in the match. They’ll know if he converts one they’ll need to score at least two. They’ll be worried, as losing to us would be seen as very embarrassing back in Italy. I suspect they will play an initial defending game and hope to catch us on the break. We can do this.

  • Melcyid March 7, 2018 at 5:36 pm

Buffoon doesnt like it up by the near post.lets do these spaghetti munchers.at worst one cornetto each.but i reckon we beat them anyway

  • OrganicPaper March 7, 2018 at 5:33 pm

I’ve got no bloody heating and the missus is nagging already via WhatsApp …she isn’t even thorough the door yet to feel how cold it is!!
Anyway, Im placating her with the offer of a pub meal – now the trick is to find a pub worth eating at that also shows the footy.

Either that or its a bag of chips in front of the TV at home and I just have to suffer the ear ache…

    • πŸ’‹ March 7, 2018 at 5:57 pm

You’re going with her for the pub meal?

  • paul March 7, 2018 at 5:14 pm

Furk i’m nervous! I have walked doggo, washed doggo and even prepped dinner just to take my mind off it. Two and a half hours to go and i’m fretting like f*ck

    but in a good way

  • Randy Lee March 7, 2018 at 5:11 pm

Juventus often sit close to their own penalty area, conceding possession in order to draw the opposition out of their own defensive shape and create counter-attacking opportunities.Although we didn’t really fall for this trap in the first leg, it was on show throughout and this is what we must be aware of, even if it seems like the opportunity to attack is too great to ignore.

Another to pay close attention to is Douglas Costa, who terrorised Serge Aurier (who is suspended) in the first leg. hopefully Kieran Trippier has done his homework on this one and has the pace and positional awareness to keep up.

Any slight lack of concentration tonight will be punished as they would any other team in the world TBH.(this is a repost from me sorry)

    • gloster1861 March 7, 2018 at 5:15 pm

I’m hoping we double up on Costa this leg. For that reason I’d be happy to go three at the back, plus two DMs. Son Eriksen Kane up front.

      • Willie! March 7, 2018 at 5:47 pm

I’d have Dier Dembele and Lamela in midfield behind Son/Eriksen/Kane

      • daytripper March 7, 2018 at 6:22 pm

If Matuidi does play, I wonder what they are going to do with Costa as Matuidi usually plays on the left for them. Trippier’s defending has been greatly improved this season, and his pace is better suited for defending Juve than Aurier.

  • Sid Trotter March 7, 2018 at 5:09 pm

I would so laugh if Sissoko and Llorente got the nod ahead of Dembele and Kane … and then shoot them

  • Sid Trotter March 7, 2018 at 5:05 pm

It’s too close to call – they are going to go full out for this. We need a dembele masterclass and Dier to be up for it with no stupid mistakes. 1-1

    • gloster1861 March 7, 2018 at 5:08 pm

That’s what is required. Play to our best ability and no cock ups.

  • Aussie in Switzerland March 7, 2018 at 5:01 pm

    • caveman March 7, 2018 at 5:48 pm

That’s not right Spurts. Surely 2-2 makes it even and 3-3 would see Juve through. Hoping for 2-0 myself.

      • πŸ’‹ March 7, 2018 at 5:59 pm

Dammit! Trust you to find the flaw in my cunning plan.

      • πŸ’‹ March 7, 2018 at 6:01 pm

In my defence … Nope. There’s no defence for that.

        • caveman March 7, 2018 at 6:21 pm

          He he

  • Jay March 7, 2018 at 4:58 pm

I think we are in it so we can win it. I have 2 concerns giving free kicks away outside the box and a player getting sent off. The Italians are brilliant at getting free kicks and with dele if he dives or gets stroppy he could be the one going

  • Nick March 7, 2018 at 4:57 pm

2-1 seems to be the majority consensus of all good Tottenham folk I know. Forgot to ask who to

    • gloster1861 March 7, 2018 at 4:59 pm

What about the bad Tottenham folk? What are they saying?

  • gloster1861 March 7, 2018 at 4:55 pm

There is no divine right to victory. I’ll be cheering Spurs on as usual but know two terrific sides will be battling tonight. Just hope we don’t lose because of another howler and we play as well as we can.

    • gloster1861 March 7, 2018 at 4:56 pm

Oh, and not losing due to an iffy refereeing decision of course.

    • πŸ’‹ March 7, 2018 at 5:01 pm

      • Aussie in Switzerland March 7, 2018 at 5:02 pm

I think our keeper is 200 years younger than theirs, so a shootout will be fun

        • πŸ’‹ March 7, 2018 at 5:07 pm

Despite his looking like a vampire from days of yore, I think Buffoon is only about 38.
