The FA Cup is beginning to shape up nicely.

At time of blogging Lincoln City, Middlesborough and Millwall are all through.

Man City face what is certain to be an unwelcome replay with the mighty Huddersfield Town. A proper quote from the Town boss David Wagner after the game :  “We are still in the competition which is great. Another match in this busy footballing period but that is not a problem for us. For sure we are one of the fittest teams in the division.

“We were able to make them uncomfortable, they were the better team with chances which is no surprise to anybody but we showed great attitude and passion.”

This is what we want from football. That old ‘no surrender’ touch.

Fair play Mr Wagner.

Wolves are also giving Chelsea a go. That match has another 45minutes to play.

Marge Lawrenson said: “I think Tottenham might struggle to get the job done at Craven Cottage, but I think they will come through a replay back at White Hart Lane.”

Lawro has predicted a 1-1 draw. He may have a point.

This season’s competition is one that Tottenham Hotspur ought to be elbowing their way forward in. So what will it be, bravery …or bogged down and sidetracked by absolute Bow Locks?
