Being A Perennial Loser Isn’t For Everyone

By The Boy -
Thank you a gain, LegOverLass!

I am fed up to the back teeth with always being the bridesmaid and never the bride.

I am also fed up with Pooch trying to justify yet another big match defeat as something to be “proud” of because we “competed”.

Competing is the base line and winning is what you are proud of. Being proud of a defeat is the language of a loser.

Levy we all know is the main culprit in this never ending GroundHog Day saga but Pooch is very much complicit having been here five years and still mumbling about projects and being ahead in terms of development.look at the figures since ENIC took control.

One pathetic League Cup victory in over 17 years and bottom of the league table in net investment levels.

These two facts are not mutually exclusive They tell the story that deep down we all know.

Our best players never stay because they are not paid the going rate and they want success.

The fact that Levy pays himself the highest salary in the EPL and the fact that Pooch is paid amongst the highest wages is not overlooked by our players and their agents when they are being told there is not enough money in the pot to pay them a going rate.

This is where the disconnect exists between the differing ambitions of the owners and the players and the supporters.

It creates a situation in which we never progress further than the promise of jam tomorrow.

Pooch is now firmly tarnished with that smell as he took the money in the summer and is prepared to flog his squad to death to justify his own warped sense of ego that he and he alone has this different ability of turning water into wine with a team so clearly lacking in many areas: The reality is what we saw yet again last night.

Make no mistake over the two legs Chelsea in terms of individual quality were a quantum leap ahead of us.

I hope I’m right but I do sense a bit more feeling moving against herr flick and uncle Joe. We cannot move forward like this. It’s going to take investment it really is that simple. Trouble is I think the bastard is that hard faced he will stick it out. But make no mistake, the English national investment company is systematically destroying what could have been a good period for the club thru nothing other than sheer greed

I posted last night on Spurscommunity that we are a second rate, small time club. And I got hammered for it. But the lack of ambition football wise that permeates our club from the top down stinks the place out. Someone needs to punch Poch hard in the face the next time he says that he is happy with his squad. It clearly needs 4-5 top quality additions and he just comes across as Levy’s little puppet by not admitting that. Pooch – HH, you have got that bang on!!

It looks like things are beginning to unravel for Danny boy. Clearly he like our government, have abandoned the austerity of our transfer policy and renumeration and replaced it with a massive spending investment. Unlucky for the poor fans who have paid that cunts salary ,the investment has not gone on the team but on a white elephant. The effect of this will force a further period of transfer austerity for the foreseeable future.
Years of neglect in player investment has seen an inevitable decline in the team and allied to substantial investment from our rivals will further exacerbate our decline. However next year when we open our new home Danny will be looking for punters happy to pay the highest prices to watch sub standard football. This will be some struggle. In such an environment the press I think ,will turn on dl and about fucking time as well.

As Levy is a tight cnut and things haven’t gone to well for him since he left Southampton, what about a move for Morgan Schneiderlin? Not really playing for Everton and maybe Potch can get the best out of him again. Maybe a loan deal until the end of the season is worth a punt.

Tbf, I think poch has done everything he can to instil a winning, ambitious mentality in the players and counteract the message being sent from the top. Enic would find it impossible to recruit anybody better than poch willing to work under their conditions.

Pooch stating that our first half performance last night was amongst the best he had ever seen in terms of playing out from the back. Is this guy on some serious pharmaceuticals? Does he believe if he spouts this total garbage all the time it will somehow deflect thought and opinion away from what everyone can see? That being a squad without the quality needed and owners without any interest in winning anything other than the favour of the NFL. It is an insult to the intelligence of all but the most zombiesque Levy diehards. Twitter is awash now with client reference numbers awakening from pricking their thumb on the PR spinning needle and beginning to see that the bright new dawn is a lot like the dark clouds of Mount Doom with Levy as Sauron yet looking like Golam.

Any self respecting top professional is not proud of losing, they work tirelessly to not be the loser again.
What are we doing any different?

The joke that I’ve seen apologists saying Fergie won nothing for 4 years is embarrassing, it’s embarrassing to even mention Botch in the same category.

Pochettino is basically the football manager version Tim Henman
