Welcome to the old Europa thing. Again.
The mighty Tottinghams are back in the ring, this time with Tromsø IL. Who? This is one of the many splendid joys of the tournament, you get to meet all manner of new faces and fascinating people. Not unlike one of ODM’s swinger’s nights really. Well, minus the nipple clamps.
My thanks to the greatest living Tottenham Hotspur supporter in Norway @finndebess, who was kind enough to assist in my efforts to unearth some information on the Norwegians; as this wasn’t a particularly straightforward task.
Tromsø IL play in an area of very heavy snow, and so their home pitch is artificial. Despite having a pair of Internationals in the team, they’ve also recently sold two of their better players as well as having lost the services of their coach, the new chap, Agnar Christensen has been with them since January.
Without being unkind, this is looking awfully like a foregone conclusion.
We’ll be missing a few of the lads, but the squad is so improved, so strong that we ought to be able to use this as an opportunity to give one or two a good run out.
Prediction? 4-0.

I think for Bulgaria and Romania the process takes a bit longer. Sometimes it happens quicker.
At the moment we are waiting for the post to arrive for the player to be registered. As awkward as it may look and sound, that is the reality. Obviously the player is frustrated with the situation but we can’t do anything about it.”
