It felt as if we spent most of the first half watching Son pandering to the possession stat aficionados. Lots of the ball, but in achievement terms there was nothing there. Nothing at all.
Second half and eventually I said EVENTUALLY we got some reaction from Bochettino who clearly advised the Spurs traffic to take another route. That route was Harry Kane emerging from the shadows. Sensational, utterly sensational header.
Poch desperately needs to identify what he’s playing at with Christian Eriksen. One of the best players on our books yet he still can’t routinely dominate games.
I’m sick of ‘wondering’ about the commitment of Tottenham players. Dele Alli, Eric Dier and Son spend far too much acting like a Tinkerbell Tribute Act, opposed to putting the opposition to the sword.
To which end Lamela should have been on at half time.
Arsenal were a shower of eunuchs. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was a non-event. That said, Henrikh Mkhitaryan made Bummerorangutan look like a serious threat.
A great win for Spurs. Arsenal are finished, quite frankly.
My question has to be, can win some stuff before we’re also finished?!
