And Then There Were 7

By The Boy -

Danny Rose is the latest player to squeeze into the the now packed to the rafters Tottenham physic room.

Physioroom.com now list 7 Spurs players as being out of action.

Rose is the latest player to pull up with a muscle injury.

Already sidelined are Jan Vertonghen, Christian Eriksen Dele Alli, Mousa Dembele, Serge Aurier and yes, …Vincent Janssen!

Michel Vorm is now back in training and Hugo Lloris may be physically fit and returned to his first team duties, but mentally the Frenchman appears frazzled.

At the risk of pointing out the painfully obvious, no other Premier League side is a plagued with injuries.

Could this be down to the fact that all the other Premier League sides used the last transfer window to reinforce their squads?

Spurs not only refused to buy anyone, but also were left staring at the club’s Academy and realising that it was devoid of players that were the required standard to play top flight football.

An alternate reality is that you are pleased with our best start to season ever, and are confident that all the decent teams that we play next will be vanquished in some style.

Its all the luck of the draw in this life, so there’s no point in even trying to run a football club properly.

Whilst it doesn’t effect me one iota because I’m unprepared to fund it, fans might start considering a delayed opening to the New Destination™ until we have a team fit to play in it.

The team that blundered past Cardiff City could well find themselves embarrassed against the likes of West Ham and Manchester City.
