Danny Rose is the latest player to squeeze into the the now packed to the rafters Tottenham physic room. now list 7 Spurs players as being out of action.

Rose is the latest player to pull up with a muscle injury.

Already sidelined are Jan Vertonghen, Christian Eriksen Dele Alli, Mousa Dembele, Serge Aurier and yes, …Vincent Janssen!

Michel Vorm is now back in training and Hugo Lloris may be physically fit and returned to his first team duties, but mentally the Frenchman appears frazzled.

At the risk of pointing out the painfully obvious, no other Premier League side is a plagued with injuries.

Could this be down to the fact that all the other Premier League sides used the last transfer window to reinforce their squads?

Spurs not only refused to buy anyone, but also were left staring at the club’s Academy and realising that it was devoid of players that were the required standard to play top flight football.

An alternate reality is that you are pleased with our best start to season ever, and are confident that all the decent teams that we play next will be vanquished in some style.

Its all the luck of the draw in this life, so there’s no point in even trying to run a football club properly.

Whilst it doesn’t effect me one iota because I’m unprepared to fund it, fans might start considering a delayed opening to the New Destinationā„¢ until we have a team fit to play in it.

The team that blundered past Cardiff City could well find themselves embarrassed against the likes of West Ham and Manchester City.

    The magnificently broken 7.

Some of them will surely be fit after the international break?

      One would hope so!

Said it time and time again. The quality of the Prem is so poor now we can still get results with injurys against most of em. That fact doesn’t excuse the way Levy has neglected the on the pitch matters and won’t help us compete with the elite sides, which is why ENIC demolished our home, to compete. But we are going backwards.

*that should be, that’s why ENIC SAID they demolished our home.

Or they are all just flogged. Or he is trying to see how many games he can scrape by in (Cardiff exhibit A) and give the 1st teamers the rest of their summer break off – to be clear I am not saying they are not injured, just being wrapped in a bit of extra cotton wool given the opposition and the impending international break.

I think if we implode, finish 8th in the league, lose some players, fail to fill the stadium, and Joe dies, we might stand a chance of winning something around 2040

I am not sure the transfer dealings could be related to the injuries this soon in the season, even if we had bought, we would not have bought quality that would be starting yet, we would have bought 3or4 players for Ā£25-30m each and hoped one stuck. For me, this soon for injuries screams coaching issue. Perhaps Poch is trying to make up for lost summer by doubling down on physical training, or there is an issue with the training pitches maybe? I am not sure how many of our purchases historically (under Poch) have started so soon after joining. My worry with the transfers is that we get another bout of injuries post Christmas (as most clubs do) and we have no rotation – picture 5 games in 2 weeks like last year, but with only 14 players worth using, then injuries and suddenly we are hosting United or Watford with only 6 first team players available in the whole squad (that includes shit like Sissoko as first team!).
