Alderweireld A Ruse As Levy Haggles For Cheapo Version Of Schneiderlin?

By The Boy -

Good morning my little dionaea muscipula.

The time it takes to get a straight answer out of Morgan Scniederlin drags on and on.

Now there is talk of the existence of a cheaper version of the Saints player!

Inside Spanish Football believe that Atlético Madrid’s Mario Suarez is the player that Spurs are after.

The Belgian Spanish International ticks all the Levy & Co. boxes, especially the price one.

The player is thought to have also attracted interest from Inter Milan, but given that the 28 year old would probably cost in the region of £9million, it’s a deal that Tottenham could theoretically well make happen in their own favour.

Over the past few weeks talk of Spurs’ interest in signing Toby Alderweireld has been simmering away, but as with the Morgan Scniederlin story, the fees are hefty and both players have the pick of what cynics might argue to be ‘more interesting’ clubs than Spurs.

Don’t get me wrong, Suarez isn’t chopped liver.

He’s won the Europa League, the Primera División, and the Copa del Rey.

He’s only been selected to play for his country 3 times, but that may say more about the competition he faces, opposed to his own frailties. But he’s priced as he is for a reason. And he’s no Premier League experience.

Perhaps our glorious leader will emerge from the sunset on horse, dressed up as Clint Eastwood; Tobes & Mario following behind, hogtied to mules. An eerie Ennio Morricone refrain slow builds as he approaches the gate of the West Stand car park.

The Chairman with no name.

Dropping off reasonably priced footballers like a cheroot toting milkman.

Oi Daniel wallah, where’s our NFL deal or have you bungled it completely?!
