Albert Einstein’s Team For Today

By The Boy -

This might be an opportunity to rest a few players. This weekend is the fourth round and will of course take the victors into the semi finals.

To Leicester City, who have won only 4 games so far this season and find themselves superglued to the bottom of the Premier League table, this match has to be more of an unwelcome distracttion than an opportunity to suddenly mount a mission to find their ‘A Game’.

City are only a few points off fellow flounderers QPR and Hull City, their Argentine Cambiasso could return but striker Chris Wood and ‘keeper Kasper Schmeichel remain sidelined. This has all the hallmarks of a game the Foxes would like to depart unscathed from, ideally with some dignity in tact.

Speaking of dignity, and indeed all thing solemn, David Brentdon Rodgers has effectively announced that Liverpool are putting their title ambitions on hold this season, preferring instead to pursue a trophy. If you also factor in that Emile Heskey will play for Bolton, you nearly have a valid arguement for missing the birth of your first child, to watch this one. C’mon yoo Trottahs!

One player I wouldn’t rest is Lloris. Not only does this buy us some insurance, but it prevents anyone else farting around with the captain’s armband.

Albert Einstein’s team for today is above. My prediction is that we shall win by a single goal. What are yours?
