A Spurs Dynasty Levy’s To Lose

A Spurs Dynasty Levy’s To Lose

Guest blog from Andrew Cooper

Levy has kept the club on a firm financial footing, that is true. But on the field it has been a series of f—- ups. A managerial round robin policy which has been disastrous.

Finally he got lucky with Pochettino.

This summer is Levys big chance. he backs Pochettino in the transfer market and we make the wise and shrewd buys which will give us the chance to win the title next season and show out impressively in Europe.

We still need greater squad depth…..Fact! Poch is doing his thing, Levy has to make it easier for him.

Pochettino is 45 and potentially can create an Alex Fergusson type dynasty.

He is building a powerful squad that is young and hungry. They are growing together as a a unit of not simply professionals, but also as friends. They are enjoying their football.

A new stadium is in progress and the blueprint is expanding.

Keep the right personnel and flip the s— off out of it… Sissoko will never be a Tottenham player. Equally, the right players have to come in while the club’s profile is sky high right now because someone is ‘Magic, you know’.

Come on Levy, do the right thing and do it early. Fergusson used to favour getting transfers done early and the squad had more time to bond.

No more last minute Raziak bargain buys on the cheap.

What a load of bollocks as usual. I recall you being one of the critics of the selection of Kane and demanding Levy spend big on a striker. Our transfer dealings and promotion of academy players has been nothing short of sensational and i trust Levy 100%. I would certainly not trust you anywhere near the club with the continual crap you spout as a so called fan.

I think Mourinho does this kind of stuff to try and reinforce the idea that he is a step ahead. Keeps the focus on himself. Claims Zlatan is tired. Pfft. He is a beast.

  • UnkleTaff April 16, 2017 at 3:22 pm

Is Martial injured? He doesn’t even make the bench today.

    • Horndog April 16, 2017 at 3:23 pm

I don’t think the special one rates him.

    • marsinho April 16, 2017 at 3:45 pm

he’s be an upgrade to vinny though.

  • BigChiv April 16, 2017 at 3:21 pm

So Levy is to blame for all the “disastrous” managerial appointments, and when he appoints someone who is doing well he “got lucky”.

    You couldn’t make it up!

I don’t think Mr. Cooper is assessing. He is merely stating the obvious. We need a couple more pieces, a little more strength. I don’t think Levy has to spend massive money to do this. To compete across the board, especially in Europe, a little more meat on the bones would be in order.

    • ronwol196061 April 16, 2017 at 3:17 pm

Whatever dynasty we have built IS Levys not Mr Coopers. Its Levy that has built it up to this point, part of it by hiring Poch and part by sound business ideas along with building the structures needed. Its Levys foundation.

      • Horndog April 16, 2017 at 3:19 pm

        Not arguing that, at all.

  • UnkleTaff April 16, 2017 at 3:11 pm

    SpurAndy π
Moanhino dropped the Zlat to the bench. Looks like he’s prioritises the Ropey over the league.

That’s encouraging. Utd are a better team without him anyway.

    • Horndog April 16, 2017 at 3:17 pm

Mkhitaryan also sitting. A bit puzzling.

      • ronwol196061 April 16, 2017 at 3:19 pm

Could be insidious reasons for this.

      • UnkleTaff April 16, 2017 at 3:20 pm

Puzzling would be a kind way to describe it. Mourinho could effectively hand Chelsea the title today.

          Sir Alex cant be happy

        • Horndog April 16, 2017 at 3:21 pm

The only thing I can think of is trying to utilize the speed of Lingard and Rashford up front. But your guess is as good as mine.

Liverpool finishing in the top four means (almost certainly) that both Man U and Arsenal miss out.

    So there’s that.

    • ronwol196061 April 16, 2017 at 3:11 pm

A tie in this one and United will be eager then

  • ronwol196061 April 16, 2017 at 3:09 pm

West Brom wasted so many chances.
They look like we used to look

  • ronwol196061 April 16, 2017 at 3:06 pm

At the end of the season its time to assess. Not now.
If we are close it would be stupid of them not to add a bit more
but right now its about the games we are playing and the ones coming up
Levys card includes any success so lets see,
Im happy where we are as it stands.

  • Rich G🤛 April 16, 2017 at 3:00 pm

We need a couple more players, too many fucks things up and spunking 100s of millions is folly as Utd and city have proven . Decent Coaching Is the way foward as I’ve always said .

  • ronwol196061 April 16, 2017 at 2:57 pm

We are playing better football and more poignant football than any time since 60-61
    Our squad is getting stronger.
All teams have weak links but Poch has turned many players around.
He may not change all but we have one of the strongest defence, strongest midfield and strongest strike force in the league.
Now is the time to rejoice.
