Good afternoon Mouseketeers.
Firstly a belated apology to the devoted members of the congregation still desperately waiting for the next Hotspur’s Half Hour.
Unfortunately our producer is incapacitated with a a particularly severe dose of our most vile enemy, gout. And gout where he has it is no laughing matter.
Thanks to the excellent Spurs centric journalist, Ben Pearce (@BenPearceSpurs) we have some insights into wot is occurring inside the football club known to millions as, ‘that gaff up the road from Chick King.’
AVB on Damiao:
It’s extremely difficult that he’s going to join Tottenham. It’s extremely unlikely that he will play for Tottenham.”
AVB also ruled out a move for Montpellier’s Younes Belhanda and a move for William Gallas – but he said Livermore could be loaned out.
AVB on ‘the Redknapp factor’ on Saturday: “It’s a big advantage. In the end when you manager a club you know your players v well…”
AVB on Gallas: “He’s away on recovery in a French clinic that we use. He won’t be available for this weekend.”
AVB says Holtby will arrive in the summer as originally planne
“We’re not looking to further strengthen our midfield at the moment.”
AVB on Adebayor comments:
The conversations that I had with the player are obviously private and not for discussion …I’ve told him we’ve been waiting for his decision patiently & if he has to go he goes, & if he stays he stays. End of the story”

Damiao & Moutiniho will both join this window!
No chance that’s 50m plus.
Actually it’s well under 50m with upfront payment and staged payments depending on Appearances in EPL.
When has levy ever spent 30m on a player get real it won’t happen doesn’t matter if you pay over length of contract to the other club you still have to pay it then there’s a 100 grand plus on wages levy won’t change all of a sudden and spend loads on damiao and moutinho.
Is that quote the same as being ‘First’?
Okay I buy into all of that but what about the boy Negrado?
Ok AVB at start of window says he was happy with Squad and wont be brining anyone in. We’ve signed Holtby for the summer so that would agree with that and Zeki who has come into the development squad so again he’s pretty honest there to. The only way we will sign anyone this window is if DL gets a phonecall saying would you like ???? for £1, then if its too good to say no to we will sign them. Odds are our window has finished
If you have money to buy, tell no one or prices quoted will be like chelsea pay.
ILWT.
If we were going to sign Moutinhio or the like of Damio the work would have already been done as we have watched them for ages truth is hey are not coming
As Anon says you can bet your bottom dollar they are both coming this window, some of us just don’t have the patience.
I wish I had your confidence. I think Moutinho could happen but both him and Damiao? That’s some departure from Levy’s recent transfer form.
We are a different Spurs these days !
Ha Ha Ha!

Well, at least he doesn’t waffle on embarrassingly.
We do have quite a lot of midfielders already but a striker would of surely been welcome.
…….and at least he doesn`t say `Michu I nearly signed him and Messi and Ronaldo and blah blah blah`
Some of our recent dealings have been covert – VDV, Sig, Dempsey. I can`t help but think that a striker is being worked on and in the meantime DL is happy to let the media ramble on with guesswork rather than alert our rivals to the real deal in the offing. Fingers crossed anyway. COYS.
Fingers crossed indeed. But after 4 seasons of sitting on newsnow hitting the refresh button every 5 mins I’m just going to take him on his word.
We could end up getting either huntelar, negredo, jan, and come the summer sign dimebar,,and on your bike adybore.fingers crossed…gout,,oohhh, and on the crown jewels, well wherever it is,not gona be nice eh Harry, anywho hope he gets well soon
We’ll probably get Darren Bent at 1min past midnight
Along with Kieron Dyer and Agbonlahor.
As long as it’s past midnight then all’s good then
So, when the dreaded gout strikes, and it’s long overdue, and we’re battling on 3 fronts, and we make the semi-final of the Rope-A-Dope and the quarters of the FA Cup and finish 5th in the league, will that have been a satisfactory season?
I think not.
“To repeat the same actions which have failed in the past, and to expect them to succeed the next time, is madness.” Or summink like that.
We won’t sign Willian either especially now we got holtby in summer they play in the same postion’s window closed as far as im concerned there’s no point buying just for the sake of it and to get in our team now your talking 15-20m and where they going to play our squad is full now and you don’t spend 50m on a new training complex if you don’t give some of the kids a game or bench time.
I’m sorry, but it’s not buying for the sake of it. It’s buying to strengthen a squad that is bound to suffer from gout over the coming months. Ferguson didn’t reject Van Persie because he couldn’t think of where to play him. And Benitez didn’t turn Ba down because he thought he might offend Torres.
And we don’t have the money man utd and Chelsea have levy runs a tight ship.
Levy HAS to run a tight ship Paul for exactly the reason’s you’ve stated-too many on here forget we’re Tottenham not Billy Gates’ plaything!
I think there’s a miss-perception that Holtby is a bit of everything and will cover the wings. From what I’ve seen and heard, he’s not that he’s a central midfielder. A metronomic passer of the ball to dictate play, and looks very promising at it. He doesn’t surge past players. Long term he wants to play deeper – so he’s the cover and competition for Dembele we’ve been crying out or, also covers number 10, or alongside him in a 433).
Willian from what I’ve seen looks more suited as a wide player, quick and full of tricks.
Lennon and Bale always ping hamstrings over the season, to say nothing of competition for places. We should have 3 pacey wingers in the squad.
We have Townsend who is decent but hasn’t been able to force his way into consideration.
Willian actually makes more sense to me in our squad than Moutinho, if we’re talking limited funds – probably around £20-25m net of sales guessing by last windows bid for JM). He could play in no.10 or wide, whilst Sigg and Holtby would still get enough games to develop.
We’ll get a striker loan I imagine and that’ll be it
interesting, any thoughts as to who?

It would have been nice to see a coule of arrivals to strengthen our attacking options – Holtby is a good signing for next season and Fryers offers good cover at LB, whilst freeing up Naughton to challenge at RB – not to mention ensuring Jan continues playing CB.
That said, the last two seasons have witnessed a poor return from the team after Christmas and promising positions have been squandered. I agree that only players that will make a difference should be joining what is already a good squad, but surely there’s an AM and CF that offers us something different. IMO it may be pie in the sky to expect the like of Sneider and Leandro to join, not least because of the interest they will attract and the wages expected. However, our scouts must have info on other players that would fit into our structure.
As for Negredo, IMO he would fit in well, would not cost the earth and gives us additional attacking options. Belhanda is also a very good player and has enough pace and skill to play in a number of positions. Sissokho and M’Villa are also decent options.
Personally, I’d bring in Negredo and M’Villa and get shot of Livermore. In the summer, if we qualify for the CL, let Jenas and Bentley leave and let Huddlestone, Gallas and Parker move on. Then bring in Alderweild and Willian and let rip.
Why wait ’til the summer to be shot of Jenas and Bentley?
Although in both instances I think it’s a lack of takers which is impeding our efforts to move them on.
Feed em to the pigs.
Only possible transfer is Schneider as AVB said no forwards so convo may go like this:-
DL: Hi I hear Weastkey is looking to move
WSA: Yes he would love to play in Prem
DL: ok good, whats he currently on?
WSA: £230k per week
DL: How much did he actually get?
WSA: £0
DL: I see, ok we will increase what hes getting by £67k
WSA: Great I will send Wes over today
DL: Perfect
Hangs up.
DL: AVB its DL I just got WS for £67k per week.
Chelsea..LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!
I wouldn’t laugh too loudly if I were you. I still expect them to make the League Cup final this year.
In fact, if anyone can point me in the direction of favourable odds for a Chelsea Villa final I’d appreciate it.
No chance, Swansea are even better at home. Come on the swans!
Three words: ‘Barcelona’, ‘Bayern’ and ‘Munich’.
I think they just make the 2nd legs all the more interesting-neither tie is a guaranteed result-all good for football-unlike the ACN,who really is interested in that?
You got me thinking there Unkle, looked around for a price but can’t find one.Its a win win bet really, happy to lose, happy wallet with a win.
Best I can find is Bet365 who have Villa at 11/10 to make the final and Chelsea at 12/5 — which means a Scum/Villa final is a shade over 6/1. At those odds I might have to have a nibble.
…the rationale being that Villa really ought to take care of Bradford at home (they do have an away goal after all) and Chelsea (and Benitez) are such spawny f*ckers it would actually come as a surprise if they don’t overturn their 2-0 deficit.
As i’m sure most of you will be aware, there’s a guy who plays in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division for Hall Road Rangers, Rubin Jerome, now he knows where the Onion Bag is, just saying !
There is this guy who used to play for red star in the flare recruitment 3rd division in Ipswich, scored over 40 goals in 20 games he knows where the bag is too.
Which basically means we are working like shit on the deal but don’t think we’ll be able to negotiate with all his owners before the window closes.
How Levy works, i know because i have a Dr Who style mind reader.
Ade – We can buy him for 5 mil, which we did, we get the good 6 months out of him like he always does at new clubs, which he did for us last year. Say we have payed him 3 – 4 mil in wages while with us. Now here is the clever bit which i predict, nay know, will happen. We sell him for 15 mil plus at the end of this window to some Italian club.
He is not an AVB style striker. He demands absolute dedication and likes player with brains. Ade has/does neither.
So we get last season out of him, and a healthy profit on the sale.
:)
Simples
Agree with you except for the going to Italy for 15mil part. The Italian teams ponce around europe every year saying that they are interested in top players and inevitably try to get them on loan or a free, they’re broke! Levy will definitely make a profit on him though.
we will all see exactly where spurs are going to finish after Feb has past
If we really have no serious intention of strengthening in this window then I feel sorry for AVB. His working brief of a top 4 finish is unrealistic with the squad as it is. The only possibility is Arsenal leaving the door ajar, but didn’t we see this same exact story last year? And who is to say Everton won’t walk in and take that spot this time anyway?
At least I can’t see us actually weakening the squad this year, which is what we did last January. Well, I hope not, anyway. But I still think we are one or two injuries away from another shit run and with 3 competitions to play our first 11 in then those injuries will happen. Not even to mention the preposterous striker situation – and btw it isn’t Ade’s responsibility to make sure the squad has enough options up front, dimlows.
Our existing squad (complete with injuries) has seen us into third at the half-way point, so why is a top-four finish at the end of the year unrealistic?
I don’t have crystal balls, it’s just my opinion. I’d say it’s only in the last few weeks that we’ve actually looked convincing, and that could be something to do with a clearing injury list, Dembele being a major factor for instance. I still think our strikers – all two of them (and soon to be one) – are flattering to deceive and a medium term injury to Bale and / or Dembele would see us fall off the pace. We are third but will probably be 4th soon and have a load of teams breathing down our necks. Some of which WILL strengthen in January.
Have you read rich g’s response to your last post on the previous blog?
I’ve got this funny feeling that he may not like you.
Just a tadge, but it’s nothing new Billy, although I can’t think for the life of me another such like example?
Say wha?
Sorry LLL,not in anyway directed at you-It’s between Billy L and I, he knows what and who I aimed that at….ping!
You two – Stop passing notes to each other!
Who is it? Come on who is it? Tell me! Come on tell me! I won’t tell no one. Quick while no ones looking.
It’s……….Well, since it’s got no name-even it’s parents must have opted out at an early stage of it’s life
Ooh you are crafty…
Wow, the piranha of the blog. Scary guy. :Afraid:
He makes a post like that every 2 months ago and then takes his own advice and fucks off somewhere else.
no twat, always here, just dont feel the need to spout shite all day every day like you
Always here? No wonder you’re so angry. Maybe you need to get out of the house /ward once in a while. Take a walk, feed the birds.
And there I was thinking you might be a bit of a tree hugger Billy,Stir that pot.
I’ve no problem with hugging trees (i even have a quiche now and again). It’s Witches i’ve got a problem with.
Onibaba?
Sorry Brux, try again.
A fine film though.
There’s a scene where the younger woman get randy with a tree…
The trailer is not explicit…but look at it all the way through!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5mFJGSbdYs
About 1:35 in to the trailer!
Originally saw it on Channel 4 about 20 years ago- classic Japanese cinema. Got it on DVD a few years ago & waiting for the blu-ray version coming out this year. Can’t imagine Ealing or even Hammer making anything close to this back in the mid 60′s, the censors would have ripped it to shreds.
that snippet looks a bit bleak, crouching nutter, hidden even bigger nutter.Give me Ealings Whiskey Galore any day
The Ladykillers, The Lavender Hill Mob, The Man in the White Suit, Passport to Pimlico, The Titfield Thunderbolt – all classics!- but films with the odd crouching nutter here & there can be a bit tasty too.
Clearing injury list? Who exactly has come back to make this difference? It’s far more likely that our recent convincing displays are more down to the team as a whole getting to grips with the manager’s tactics and general approach, and as such we’re more likely to kick on from here than go backwards.
And adding players doesn’t necessarily strengthen the squad. Just ask Chelsea (re Torres) and anyone who’s had the misfortune to take Jenas off our hands in recent years.
Dembele’s come back, like I said in the original post. He’s come back and gotten fitter and now the midfield of him and Sandro is really solid.
But I agree that the team are playing more cohesively too and that’s hopefully down to training and the manager etc. As you say.
But I still think we will be in the shite if we lose a couple of key players to injury. What if one or both of our strikers get injured?
And saying that adding players doesn’t strengthen the squad is somewhat pointless, no? So in that case we should never add players? Silly point to make innit. Nobody is suggesting that we add some crap players. That’s what we did last January and what we should seek to avoid.
LLL – I make you right, we are a couple of injuries away from a potentially bad run as the goals will dry up. Still looking forward to benny getting full fitness and the bulls return so we do have clearing injury list.
The team is more cohesive and hopefully what appears to coaching continues to improve the team play.
We’ve been without a number of key players since the start of the season (it’s only relatively recently that we have had two fit strikers to call upon) and we seem to have coped well enough. Bale, Siggy, and Dempsey (yes, even Dempsey) can play as strikers if need be and we have a couple of tasty prospects in the youth ranks to call upon if we have to.
I didn’t say that adding players doesn’t strengthen the squad, I said that adding players doesn’t *necessarily* strengthen the squad. Big difference between the two. Of course we should be looking to strengthen if possible, but for every Jelavic there’s a Torres. Or a Saha. Or a Raziak. Or a Campbell. We don’t exactly have the best track record when it comes to the January window, do we?
I think we scraped by early on but even then we could have possibly avoided some pretty poor results if we had a little more depth, particularly in attack. And then we’d be flying right now, perhaps even, ooh, 13 points ahead….
So I think we are agreed that signing players can potentially strengthen the squad, with the proviso that we must avoid signing any shitters.
Mater of the obvious, why do you even post cun t?
s*
How many of these til i can obtain a restraining order?
Well done rich g for pointing out the obvious being pointed out.
See what you did
Oh probably not
The team are definitely more comfortable of late. They even seem to be able to play the ball around at the back without giving us fans heart attacks. They are learning the AVB way.
Judging by the membership photos at the top of the page shouldn’t the title read ‘Jimmy Saville’s Club’?
A file marked ‘others’ if you please.
Woody Allen ‘Hi Jimmy, do you have a ten for two fives?’
Jim Davidson: ‘Up the Elephant and round the Creche’.
They all seem to have been fathered by Mickey Mouse..see Walt did let him out.
It’s the pics of Bruxie and ODM that are giving me the willies! (definitely no pun intended).
Oh, Bruxie….. what big ears you’ve got?
Countryside Alliance ears.
Damned, I ‘ve got to google that now, cheers Billy
I’ll give you a clue, Ess. Think Ned Beatty in ‘Deliverance’ combined with the higher than average number of Farmhands with sticky out ears…………geddit?
Oh yeah, I’m not too sure I wanted it though!
ooh, not a good thought…think Anne Widdicombe’s lady garden-anne widdicombes lady garden-squeal like a pig boy—oh, shit. I’m in deep trouble!
Nighty night & sweet dreams…………..
Oh for the power of the WWW, eh?
Today I’ve learnt the following…
Clive Allen say’s Redknob was distracted by the England speculation and it definately derailed our season
Damiao isn’t likey to join us
Adebayor’s a total cnut
Likey and unlikely are two different words (according to the Times of London)
In an age whereby all the information you’ll ever need is at your fingertips, these revelations surpass anything I ever wanted to know..thank you Google
Could we not just get our well known strongeller chap to dispose of Jenas and Bentley and claim the pair on the contents insurance ?
Have to say I really like our squad and if we do want and make CL for next year what’s the point of bringing in someone who will not be up to it next season, think ade will only miss MU and WBA in the prem fixtures so don’t panic, our squad is right up there, spend big in the summer on a real deal striker
If we are the Mouseketeers, what we need to do is summon the mouseketool hopefully containing a striker, covering left back and any mystery player, that will help us do it.
That’s a great picture of Bruxie but I don’t remember his ears being quite so dark
I had yours lowered for obvious legal reasons, Ted.
I’m grateful
The Negredo stuff is starting to sound almost authentic and is more believable than Dame O or D Villa
Was Villa ever an option? I don’t think so ODM.
I still think there’s an animal with even bigger ears than yours that Levy will pull out of a top hat before Feb
I never thought Villa was likely. Too old and far too expensive for us but still top class
How good do you think he could be in a spurs shirt?
Oooh, pretty good I reckon
Even though i do watch a fair bit of Spanish football, i havn’t seen much of Sevilla this season. Negredo never impressed me that much the few times i have seen him play, but his goal stats look good!
I’ve still got a gut feeling, not an IKN or anything like that-Llorente, and it’s only based on the fact that Juve haven’t signed him as yet-perhaps even Adebayor going in the other direction to Juve (which would be really nice)
Now that is a signing i would be excited about, He’s class! Let’s hope your gut feeling turns out to be right, you could yet become a spurs transfer psychic!
Well,I did suggest Verts back in Feb and Dembele,so I’m hopeful for a hat-trick
You can borrow my Zekki Fryers at the end of August if you like.
I may need it Unc, cos as i typed it, I then remebered
‘If you want God to laugh at you, tell him your plans’
He’s still odds on for Juve, who may still be waiting for him on a free in the Summer. Believe it or not we are a distant third in the runnings, below Liverpool, who have actually signed a striker already.
So there might be something in it after all.
Odds on? bookies? you would know more, i expect they ask you? no?
Lloriente seems unlikely to me his strike rate is not great and he’s getting on a bit
No third party ownership issues either as far as I know.
I’m confused,is Bruxie and ODM the same person?
Have they ever been seen in the same room together?
Yes we’re schizophrenic
And I have got a photo to prove it!
Walter Ego.
Possibly ,but it’s only ‘earsay boom boom!
Ha ha
No I remember now from the 1/2 hour show,ODM’s posh and Bruxie ain’t.
I don’t buy the second half collapse line. Last season Redschnapps’ frolic cost us dearly. The nosedive of the club was clearly co-ordinated with his one way flirtation with the England job. Once Hodgson had the post, we were undefeated the rest of the way.
That collapse was compounded by Arry’s refusal to play anyone but VdV for less than 90 minutes. He didn’t rotate the squad, except for one week when he was severely criticized for not rotating in the popular press. Same for the year before.
AVB has and does rotate–the squad that is. Also, tough to have it both ways on the departure of Ade–most people have been severely complaining about his play–and justly so–so what are we missing? This will give Dumpster and Siggy a chance to strut their stuff. I think the results will be positive. Also, the return of Dembele and Parker gives us the best midfield in the PL. I think we have seen the results there already.
The Physio Room is the unanswered question. If MG goes down, we are toast. Surely DL should be moving for a full fledged, 100% competent striker–whether Ade is absent or not. With that I would be perfectly content the rest of the way.
As the Greeks said in a slightly different context, count no man happy until he has passed out of the transfer window, free of sadness. Great things can happen late at night. They still may.
Chill, dudes.
This Negredo situation has the DL deal look about it. Sevilla need the money so will not be immune to a lowball cash offer. Damaio is wishful thinking but he is not a Levy type player, we would have to overpay big time on him. Better send the scouts back out into the backblocks to find the next Berba. In the meantime, if AVB thinks we can hold the fort then I’ll place my faith in him and the boss, they’ve got us this far and after the start to the season we had I’m sure there were plenty out there who didn’t expect us to be in 3rd place first week into 2013
Utter shite, not a levy type player? in your opinion? worth fuck all, move on
Is that your opinion? worth less than fuck all because you never have an opinion of your own only criticise others.
Its a blog its 90% (approx) opinion with a smattering of fact and a heap of bulls shite.
If you have no interest in others opinion and no interest in giving your own (you have not offered any of your own views) it is a bit mental health you keep coming on here.
My opinion cant care less if it is worth nothing its styill my opinion Now bore off , Unless this is part of therapy in which case i wish you all the best and hope it is successful

Aren’t all the Spanish clubs (aside from el duo classico) supposed to be having a fire sale atm? Wasn’t that how Laudrup picked up Michu for 2m? If so, you’d think we’d have had our scouts out in Spain every day of the week for the past few months… And it does lend the Negredo rumours some minor credence, though if there is any truth that their boss is in town he could just as well be chatting to Arsenal. Or even West Ham. (lol).
He is having an Evening meal with Daniel at Southwark Nando’s, chicken combo i believe and then on to Stringfellows for some champers.
Some Dom Perignon ’96 and he’s ours!
Would expect Daniel to push the boat out, probably go for Dom Perignon Vintage, likely to be an Oenotheque 82-97 to start with then a couple of bottles of the’96 in the Private room.
Fire sale? no one knows? you do though? twat
Good morning sweetheart :Roses-are-red:
If all else fails we could offer Arthur Scargill a flat in the NDP for his services, I know he’s getting on a bit but I’ve never seen a better striker in my lifetime…….Or there’s that polish bloke, Lech Wałęsa…Personally after Rasiak I wouldn’t go for another Pole….
He has an Eye for the ladies that Lech.
That’ll put the Ar5ena1 off him then…..
Bryant and May were two of East London’s best strikers, lit the place up they did!
Every match!
Superbly accomplished Press conference today, got his points accross very well, answered what he chose to reply to, no silly quips, spoke well about the whole squad spirit, yes Jake can maybe go out on loan but only to develop his game and come back a more accomplished player.
Was coy about transfers but smiled as though he had something up his sleeve.
Great to see a press conference conducted with efficiency and intelligence.
Why has ODM got a pair of large black testicles on his head at the top of the page ?
Rumours on t’net that we are in talks with Seville to sign Negredo.
Or maybe it is Kanoute.
Kanute no longer plays for Seville, think he’s in Saudi or China, maybe QPR or someother footballing backwater
I’d rather Kanoute than Adebayor, the only time I felt that Defoe ever really worked with A N other was with Freddie…..
Kamoute was another moody bugger. The phrase ” blows hot and cold ” was invented for him.
Imagine any talks between Levy and the Seville owner will be hard going.
I was a big fan of Kanute, so often he was accused of being moody, lethargic and so on, but he was a decent striker, who remained top notch for a while after leaving us. Just seen a compilation of Negredo’s goals, and the thing that struck me was the variety and speed of thought-very impressive-but I’m aware that Youtubes not a true guide to greatness
I often wear a pair of outsize testicles on my head to ward of evil spirits and gooners
I find a strong, sturdy gibbet made of good old fashioned English Oak and a trustworthy length of rope does the trick.
That’s all very admirable ODM-but you’re supposed to take them off on non-match days
NOW you tell me
I can just imagine you minding your own business-and a long trail of kids skipping behind you-Jimmy Saville looking on thinking ‘Damned and blast-now why didn’t I think of that!’
Does Sepp Blatter actually know we are in the new Millennium, his views about all matters football seem to belong to the 1950′s. How on Earth did that silly old fart end up Decision making on behalf of World Football.
a large number of brown envelopes and a large amount of brown nosing?
If the FA banned Louise Sewerage for using the word Negredo what are we going to call Alvaro if he arrives?
And will players be banned for shouting ‘on me nut Negredo’ and suchlike?
Negsy!
Don’t you Negsy me!
I’ll set Peter Herbert on you
NOOOOOOooooooooo……………………..
Doubt we’ll get Negredo. Everyone knows that when it comes to spending money D Levy is niggardly.
Guillem Balague says Spurs are not talking to Sevilla Chairman Jose Maria del Nido about Negredo
IF we sign Negredo and we play the bindippers what happens if Sorass callls him Negredo?
Dunno, but what’s bucktoothed cnut in Spanish?
El fucko goofio…
El bucktoothed cnut.
coño bucktoothed
melcyid we all gather round and stomp Ratmans bitch asss into da pitch. Even joe Lewis from boxing retirement in Bahamas will get a couple good solid liks in.
Anyway lets forget this Damiao kid. If he wanted to come I reckon he would of made it clear himself. Not everyones a legends like Sandro. Coming from Brazil to embrace a complete different culture strumming his guitar and doing roundhouses like a true boss.
Negredo would be a wiser mover, he’d put chances away no problem.
But the main move we need to make is for Heung-Min Son from Hamburg hes 20 quick, ,skillfull can finish can play on the right wing too.(Lennon cover) Future star better then Zaha I reckon.
Hopefully Rafa can put a word in.
actually go on my son from hamburg looks the business, lots of guile and loads of tricks and knows how and where to put in the net.Would rather a punt on him now sooner rather than later.
Negredo eh,fuck my old boots.
Defoe gets injured, Bale comes in as striker, scores 15 in 11 games. His pace, finishing, dribbling and passing are truly world class and now Pathé is making a return Dembélé can be pushed up the pitch to support him.
Players aren’t currently interested in us unless we pay silly money, which DL rarely does. Really disappointed in Ade’s behaviour since preseason and it seems to be getting worse. Hope we make good money from him in the summer!
Just want to throw this into the mix…
Bild who unveiled the Holtby news a decade before anyone else even knew who the hell he was have just popped this out…
http://www.101greatgoals.com/blog/bild-tottenham-prepare-e10m-bid-for-hamburg-striker-heung-min-son/
Always been an admirer of Park at Manure, solid work rate, scorer of late/great essential goals, never complained Sandro kind of mentality, real unsung hero in my view, so if this fellow is of the same ilk he could be interesting…
‘Arrys quip about managing Cheatski pretty much sums the pillock up, just hope to hell AvBs lads stuff them tomorrow once and for all.
Thanks for the video, jeez louise he looks a lot better than negredo.
Heung-Min Son… mouth-watering video… def worth 10 million… hope there’s truth in this
Nope, your all wrong, ive been googleing and wikipedia all night, and anything you say is wrong, because i know everything AND IM ALWAYS RIGHT
Morning rich
That’s rich coming from you Rich, hehe, negredo now leandro in the summer, spurs 3 qpr 0 coys
I do hope that the Anger Management Classes have been binned as they certainly are doing rich no good at all and the rest of us Taxpayers are footing the bill. Very unfortunate when a young child is dropped on his head like that, he never really got a fair chance what with the Tourettes thrown in.
For a dog which has its toungue glued up Levy’s bottom, it’s amazing how many boring comments it can churn out per blog entry (around 76). Must have smuggled a smart phone up there.
The hypocrisy on the last blog was brilliant. Didn’t take long for the ‘Ade’ lovers to do a complete about face and reach for the burning torches. The quarterwit who totally misread the stats on Adebayor, and then used them to back up a previous, and equally stupid, argument was priceless.
well said,adybore can fcuk off
Well in my defence they ‘looked’; right at the time
It’s almost as though each transfer window is erased from the memories of the naive using one of those little gizmos from MIB. Need a striker? Buy a bargain midfielder or two, that’ll fool ‘em again. And round and round we go.
having read to the depths of this blog .what a load of sarcastic bastards you are .i do luv you all though
Cheer up. At least we’re not this lot…

Re the idiot Times journo with the typo :
Giving journalists Twitter is like slipping a loaded handgun into an American teenager’s packed lunch before sending them off to high school in the morning.
A little irresponsible I think.
Being employed by Murdoch is a little irresponsible I think.
Has my Missus been handing out Unwanted photos again, H?
That’s one of the more flattering ones!
:Roses-are-re
get Lumphard on a free off cheatski stop bacon face from getting him, make the blue racsists mad then bench him.
I like the cut of your jib, sir!

Bollocks. That’s never a good sign.
One noticable absentee in the picture-Where’s John Terry?
We’re f*cked tomorrow then……………….
Kiss of death, if ever-ah, well that’ll be Levy’s fault for employing him I guess?
I put a link to Onibaba above.
Enjoy the tree hugging scene at about 1:35
Originally saw it on Channel 4 about 20 years ago- classic Japanese cinema. Got it on DVD a few years ago & waiting for the blu-ray version coming out this year. Can’t imagine Ealing or even Hammer making anything close to this back in the mid 60′s, the British censors would have ripped it to shreds.
My vhs is broke and I had Kurosawa’s “Throne Of Blood” on a very grainy tape. Might splash out on the dvd version if I can persuade my wife to watch her dreadful daytime tv upstairs.
Akira Kurosawa’s ‘The Samurai Collection’ (5 films) is going for £36 squid on amazon. As for the old trouble & strife, just weave that old charm BC, she’ll be putty in your hands!
If any of you cineastes wants a copy of Fritz Lang’s M on DVD let me know. I recently bought the Blu-Ray which comes with a DVD version as well and so is surplus to requirements. No box, obviously, but I’d rather it went to a good home if possible than just throw it out.
Anything by der Fritz is worth a watch, especially a noir with Lorre but given that it’s available on yootyoob: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCEzfjERfvo for nowt, might I suggest you donate it to your local library.
Nice offer though.
Got it, but thanks for the offer Unc.
DL is a slippery basterd. We never know what he’s up to and that’s probably a good thing. The only question is, will it be a good surprise (VDV, Dembele) or a nasty one (Saha,Nelson)?
like I was saying before Heung Min Son man .Im telling you this is the KID ! Certain players you tell your friend .
THIS IS THE KID. like when we got Bale I told my mate THIS IS THE KID he said THE KID? I said yeah THE KID!.
Was this on a farm?
Emmerdale?
Does anyone know how much longer Jenas and Bentley have on their Spurs contracts?
In July 2008 Jenas signed a years extension which took him up to 2013.
On 31 July 2008 Bentley signed a 6 year contract which takes him to 2014.
fookinell !
Apparently if we continue to criticise Suarez he’ll leave England.
That must be a cue for action…
What can we sing?
“All I Want For Christmas is my Two Front Teeth”?
Ask Hartley!
L…O…V…E the look of Negrado. Saw an 11 minute youtyoob mash of him scoring plenty of quality goals including several ‘just gently chip the oncoming keeper rather than smash it wide or at him like so many top level pros do’ type goals. Why more strikers don’t score like that has always been beyond me; how hard is it for a Prem league level professional to lift a ball over a person and under a bar 10 to 15 yards or more away? He makes it look as easy as I think it is.

This guy looks classy, talented, relaxed, up for it and expensive; probably won’t sign him, probably should.
In Holland they call him “The Cannibal of Amsterdam”,
So he was shipped out to Liverpool a place he thought was calm,
Then King Kenny got the boot and the club installed The Bren,
While the pool got Bugs Bunny, Tottenham got Jan Vertonghen.
Call me sad (or possibly unemployed) but I’ve just watched the Negrado video right through again. I can’t help but smile at his supreme touch & finishing not to mention the exuberance of his style, and once or twice I was reminded of klinsman.
If you get anything at all out of watching world class goalscoring made easy, stick it on full screen, kick back for ten and enjoy.
Nothing sad Urbane, the guy is Brilliant. Lets hope and prey we get him
Roger Davies of Derby or Ian Ormnroyd of Villa..their goals were also amazing..for different reasons.
Will Hughes of Derby is gonna be a goodern
