Good evening.
So Ade’s orf then. I championed his signing and I have to respect his wishes. But you’d be a booby, a schmuck, a schnook and or a putz to say it doesn’t affect us.
Because it does. It’s a total disaster. Maybe my definition of disaster is different to yours. Who cares. I know what see and it’s a disaster that’s before me.
This isn’t an attack on the player or the club, purely as this situation is but only a ‘p0tential’ fiasco. We’ve got where we are by the skin of our bleedin’ teeth and and anyone who wants to come on here and commence waxing lyrical about this season being Defoe’s coming of age wants to come again.
Whilst the rehabilitation of several of our injured number is improving, striker wise we look like lonelier that naffin’ cloud William Wordsworth found himself so struck by.
Dime bar, Lorente, Mr Shifter’s great great grandson. I do not know and I don’t much care. What I am certain of is the the need for the immediate purchase of a very decent striker. Adebayor getting leave cupernity leave has suddenly made our striker situation both pertinent and pressing. We have the the resources and we need to simply get the hell on with it.
Indulging Ade like this either reflects complete confidence or utter naivety.

For what it’s worth:

Wow, good call. You ordinarily have to catch Oddschecker while it sleeps to see that…
Your appetite for petty sarcasm should surely have been somewhat negated by the pre-emptive disclaimer ‘for what it’s worth’, no?
In any case, the bookies are normally the best ITK around. Which isn’t saying much, but it’s saying something.
They also have us run away favourites to sign both Sneijder and Moutinho and they make Arse favourites for Zaha.
For what it’s worth.
Christ you can’t take a single thing! Read what I said. The field on your link was abandoned. That is a ‘wow’.
Usually to see this you need to click on a price at like 6am. I was being sincere.
And I’m sincerely confused. But if I’m being a berk in some way, I apologize. Sincerely.
issues
Except i don’t spot Internacional on that list.
Yes I would place a tenner on that one but at probably 1/25 not much point and hence their exclusion….IMO it looks like typical bookies odds without the favourite being named: a win win for the bookies more than us.
First. And possibly because levy knows one is coming?
Let’s hope so :Sa
Levy will just see it as Ade only missing 3 league games. I’m afraid this window will be the same as usual. At least holtby has been bought in, whether in the summer or sooner we shall see.
£1.6m to bring him in early. I’m struggling to see how that might add up, mate.
Have to agree, Levy let us start the season with one Striker, why would he care about a few games in Jan. Last year we missed out on CL football because of bad January signings and off field manager problems. This year it will because of lack of striker options in August and January maybe he’ll get Saha back…..
Completely predictable – he suckered Arsenal and City, so why did we think it would be different for us?
He’s entitled to play for his country, just like every other national. It’s not really his fault that we only have 2 strikers, although if we wind up signing another while he’s away he mightn’t get back in the team.
I do think there may be some truth in the idea that we may listen to offers for him. It would certainly appeal to Levy as he will undoubtedly double or near triple the 5m he paid for him 3 months ago.
Don’t forget the huge signing on fee he received.
U can’t lay into ade. If he didn’t go the whole of Togo would want to linch him
He’s been shit this season anyway. I just hope this means we’re moving for damiao. To be quite honest i wouldn’t be happy with any transfer activity if it didn’t involve damiao moving to spurs quick sharp!
I think Defoe’s coming of age this season
Take a seat.
We’ll plug it in.
I’m coming again
Reaching puberty? His voice was a little deeper at the weekend.
While I respect Ade’s, or any player’s, desire to represent his country, in this situation I think the player should reconsider the context of his effing off – personal lack of health, fitness, goals and the club’s depth at striker this season so far – and put employer first.
All that Jermain has done is run around alot more this season.Just the sort of thing an Everton player does as a matter of fact.Jermain has scored some great goals for us and will always deserve respect however he is not a Van Persie or Ronaldo.Spurs cannot afford to buy or pay a player at that level.Bale is nearly at that level but we got him as a baby and we nearly sold him for peanuts before he came ‘good’.
As for Ade he has has been first injured and then just not shown the form of last season but unless Levy pulls something out of the ‘bag’ we will struggle through the transfer window hoping Defoe does not get an injury.
Come on you must know how it works by now .
Even if Damiao sings pronto, only an optimist would expect a firing on all cylinders from day one. Same t’would be the case for any new signing
what about Sturridge or Ba, i would expect Damaio to bang at least one in on his debut with all those crosses and tasty feeds pinging in.
Sturridge signed for Liverpool the other day.
I think that’s the point he is making, Ba and Sturridge both started firing on all cylinders on their debuts, Ba getting a brace for the bluracists and Sturridge with a goal for the thieving bin dippers.
Both players moving to and from clubs in the premiership. Very very different to the Damiao situation. Not really rocket science.
I meant they scored on their debuts
So he misses the ManU game, the FA cup match, away games at Norwich, WBA and possibly QPR.
Just need Defoe ( defo coming of age by the way) to go lame and we are stuffed.
Is Ade playing for his country better or worse than Bale having a weeks paternity leave?
Is his missus having another one ? Just our luck she gives birth on the day of the ManU game.
Plus we lose Sandro and Dembele as they are acting as midwives.
What? Mrs Gareth only sprung about 2 months ago. He’s quick, but not that quick!
I’m agree and am move my anxiety up the pitch. Midfield is done, one way or the other we will have Holtby or ANOTHER be Jan 31st. Moutinho is a real classy player, but with Holtby here we won’t be short. £25m would clean us out until we shift several – and it took us 2 years to shift the last lot. Plus Erikssen and Willan have 1 yr on their contract in June. Holtby wouldn’t disgrace us to start or play back up to Dembele for 4 months.
So wide and up top are our clear frailties. Zaha doesn’t solve the short term – yet I’m all for having been to watch a couple of Palace games with mates, and he’s a magnificent talent.
Damiao I just can’t see happening again, we’re all bored of it. Why a player would view having a hedgefund influence his future as a good thing is beyond me.
Remy would solve both problems until Jan and is available as a price we can afford. We should take him and stop f*cking about, he’s a better squad player for us than Defoe (not tactically flexible) and Ade (kicks off when he doesn’t play, and not consistent enough to be 1st choice).
Then spend 2 weeks pursuing all this Moutinho business – tell him it’s now or never. If no we go to Holtby, with a textbook Levy cheeky punt for Sneijder on deadline day.
I’ve got a feeling we’ll be alright without Ade for a wee while, we have been most of season and Dempsey seems to have hit some form
Plus Damiao or Llorente are on their way 100%, prob both
“Plus Damiao or Llorente are on their way 100%, prob both”
Agreed, but where are they going?
well,you can’t say we’ll miss his goals….
but seriously how long do you expect Togo to go
in the ACN? they will be lucky to get out of the group stage, so he misses 3 games…listen to yourself..the sky is falling!!!!
Think you’ll have to Ghana some more support for that wordplay
Ade hasn’t been missed too much this season and when he has played his looked average at best and at times the sulky outcast we saw at city. We definatly need a proper striker as ades not doing the job and as good as his done Defoes best position is impact sub
It’s not like this one has crept up on us – we’ve been a striker short for a year since cashing in on Pav last winter and now it’s two. Lack of investment in the squad cost us dearly this time last year, let’s hope Levy’s learnt a lesson and history’s not repeated…
not disputing the need for a top end striker but………..
ade coming back fitter sharper and hungrier won’t be a bad thing
imagine he comes back top scorer full of confidence!!!!
he may then be the striker we thought we had signed
Defoe just depresses me
coys and coygfg
hello
We need a striker anyhow. need to get Leandro Diamio in .. its been a long distance arranged marriage for too long.
This could save or doom Ade’s season. I’m the same as you H, he’s a cracking player who is unfairly put upon because of unsubstantiated rumours and an unfair rep, plus the fact he’s an ex goon. Lets say he goes to ACON, scores a couple of goals for Togo, gets back in his groove then tragically Togo fall at the final hurdle and don’t make it out of the group. Win win, Ade’s back n form and comes home too soon. Meanwhile, his absence has convinced levy to buy us a late christmas present from brazil
‘unfair rep’-Repeated history I’m afraid to be correct in saying-every club it’s exactly the same MO-nothing unfair about it
Ade wasn’t interested in his final season at arse because he was promised a move to Juve or someone for much bigger wages and a chance to win trophies. This was then blocked by arsenal and he was forced to stay. If your boss said you could leave for a more important, better paid job with better prospects, then your boss blocked it, you’d be unmotivated to do well too. He got the move to city under Hughes, then Mancini came in and didn’t fancy him so hung him out to dry and didn’t give him any chances. He’s been unlucky with injury and suspension since he came to us and like H said before, a strikers worth is not just in the goals he scores. Ade works incredibly hard for the team and is vital to our link up play
Oh FFS, Ade went on strike to secure a move to Arsenal from Monaco. He stropped his way out of there to Man City-did the same there to get a loan to Madrid and then to us-and now the same moody-lethargic-apathetic displays are beginning to show in his performances with us-that, my friend is a little bit of history repeating itself!
I think despite all this speculation, like most things Spurs it’s about the bottom line and budget’s. If Ade’s frozen out, can we afford a player on his wedge on the bench? Best solution, if there’s any truth in the matter is Juve are supposedly after him, if so-cheerio. If Juve are after him, then you could speculate that Llorente isn’t going to Italy, so maybe there’s a chink of light there? Remy, I wouldn’t touch with a Gooner’s penis, and like Jamie, pretty fed up with the continual Damiao soap opera. In the interim we need a striker and fast, but I know that, AVB knows that and I’m certain Levy does as well.
its obvious defoe is not the striker we need to finish top 4 regularly. however ! i would have him up front ahead of that lazy, lethargic ,uninterested ,mercenary excuse of a man who wears the spurs jersey called adebayor ! he is a disgrace . my blood boils when i see him play ! he needs to b replaced asap and a top class playmaker addaed to squad, and then we can b confident on top 4 year in year out ! get rid of the poison, the mercenary that is adebayor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, yer like ‘im, eh?
U.S league is closed at the moment, perhaps we will sign PSB on a short term deal.
We were his boyhood club, apparently.
Three reasons why Adebayor disappoints – The reckless stupidity of his sending off at the precise moment we had the scum on the rack, His standing on the wing, one foot on the ball, arms opem, and palms raised in exasperation at the lack of a central striker in the box to pass to ‘That would be you, you F****n’ numpty!’ , and his last minute decision to eff off to South Africa for a Jolly with his mates (they ain’t gonna’ win it, that’s for sure), after keeping us hanging around for waiting for his fitness for the best part of the first half of the season.
Apart from that I think he’s beast, as my 14 year old son would say.
Tend to agree, Pin old son.
The amount of time that Ade is off to the Africana Cup is nothing compared to the laisse affair attutude he has had when he has been with us. Adebayor is a great player. He really is.He has talent, finesse, strength, can head or shoot and could spot the space a mile away. His talent is not the problem. Its his attitude.
If we can get a fair offer than let him be off.
But with all that I cant believe that Levy would let him go without a striker or two in the wings (actually he is a striker in the wings and that is the problem) Im sure that Levy has already one or two already negotiating with. Otherwise I will really scratch my head.
The fact remains that since he’s come back, we’ve been a better team. I’m by no way suggesting he’s played well, but his presence poses the opposition a problem-think what a good striker of his type would do for us?
Sorry, meant to add, if there’s any truth in the rumour about Damiao, he’s actually the one player I wouldn’t want in the Jan window, as his settling in period/acclimatization would be considerably longer than say a European based player. No problem with a summer move btw
We do have a Brazilian brother in our ranks, someone to practise Kung-Fu with and i believe our Head Coach speaks Portuguese. Anyway his feet do the talking.
Look how long it took Sandro to settle in Raz, and we had Gomes in our ranks and that other Brazilian half-wit-All I’m saying is I wouldn’t expect him to hit the ground running and if he does take time-it could affect his game, like Pav took an age if you recall, not that he ever hit anything other than the ground more often than not
settle schmettle
had enough just want the kettle
boil it and pour it on
its time for a cuppa even in winter
I heard Benny said it was time Sandro got off the Sofa, he’s been there nearly 3 years, so in the New years Sales they both went out and bought him a bed, with plenty of storage for his trophy’s. that means the Sofa is available, welcome to the house of fun !
he didnt need to settle in or acclimatize at the olympics
You cannot compare Olympic football to Premier League Melc, even Dos Santos looked half decent- GDS, eh?, whatever happened to him? :P ondering:
You cannot compare Giovanni Dos Santos with Leandro Damio son Silva Dos Santos, one was a clown and the other is an excellent Striker.
An untried striker in the Premier League, and we all know who’s fault it’ll be if he flops after 35 mins?
dissagree with you there, the olympics were in london,no?and he played great stuff, azza and bale putting in the crosses he would flourish
But one was in June and it’s now January. I don’t really sub-zero temperatures and near perpetual darkness at the summer bollox fest. Unless Internacional have been keeping him in a fridge for us since Xmas.
I agree he has a presence.
But he doesnt attack the goal.
He is talented (one of the best we have) but is playing with us.Not on the level of Gomes but he rakes the piss every game nearly.
Nobby has it in one – we need a striker anyway. Neither Defoe or Adebayor are consistent enough and you just have to look at the likes of Michu and Ba to see what a difference a hot striker makes.
The facts are simple enough, goals win matches so the two most important players in any team are the main striker and the keeper. We’ve got the keeper.
ODM,I like talented players.Quality.A player who has a good eye for finding space. But we have many.I agree we need a scoring machine now up front.I see all those other players. The intensity of Suarez,The aggression of Podolski, the gunslinger RVP,Rooney the crazed AK47,the The Chelsea 5,Aguero and Tevez.
We need that.
Its not the icing, its the beef
As Cloughie said it’s a simple game.
The team that scores the most goals wins
The team that has Van Persie wins most
Its lucky that they do for we have jumped leaps and bounds over them in defence.
We need that striker though (even though I think Dempsey will get better, those yanks know route 1 very well)
I think he actually said “the team which scores the more…” cos he got his GCSE Inglish grade 4.
There will always be those who can’t read between lines,
They’ll just never see the most obvious signs,
A Portuguese speaker who wears Yellow and Green,
Is winging his way here, yes to N17.
He played 2012, we all watched him live,
And ended Top Scorer with six goals in five,
Mexico turned over those flash Samba Boys,
But LD loved it here and the Lane is his choice.
Daimio,Daimio,where art thou Daimio
My kingdom for 2.4 goals a game
our place will never be the same
when we herald the new king of white hart lane
I actually think, the way AVB has been selling the story that Adebayor might go to ACN, that he was hoping he would go. I think he and Levy have manufactured this trip for Adebayor so they can sign a replacement for him when he’s away and he won’t throw a hissy fit within the club. I think they will let Juventes have him on loan. I also think the reason is, his attitude. His indecision at times on the pitch is galling.
I’m sorry but I didn’t even think Adebayor had turned up this seaon so far. Now is the time to go and get Leandro Dalmiao as he would certainly shake things up. We have been chasing him for three years placing silly bids well below his value. It’s been quoted we will bid £15 million for him plus Gomez. That seems like a good deal to me. Still I won’t hold my breath as we all know what Levy is like.
Most yids have been complaining about AVB playing 2 up front and that the Defoe and Ade partnership ain’t working. Now it seems what they were wanting to happen has been handed on a plate and still the moans already, oivey
Playing with JD and Ade just isn’t working, AVB’s favoured formation is 4-3-2-1 (4-5-1) and that can easily be adapted to 4-3-3 depending on the opposition and state of play. There is no understanding between JD and Ade so the current best option is Defoe as lone striker until Monday when our prayers will be answered.
Perhaps too many people are concentrating in getting their individual dislikes of one player or another to realise that the TEAM are playing rather well-because I for one couldn’t give a rats arse who’s scoring, provided we’re scoring-and guess what?-we are!
And that’s why we lost to Everton, because even though we had the chances we were anable to convert them and put the game beyond the opposition. That’s why we hang on in the last 15 mins of many games, efficient teams build on their advantage and close the game out early, then use subs to rest players and rotate, i expect AVB to be doing this very soon.
I’m not sure what game you saw against Everton but the reason we lost was the way we dropped too deep and gave possession away-and conceded two dreadful goals by poor defending and a lack of nous, nothing to do with missed chances Raz
Just isn’t working? We are third! Sheesh
Sky put some stats up only a short while ago…
Tottenham with Ade this season
Games 13
Won 5
Drawn 3
Lost 5
Goals 20
Average scored 1.54
win percentage 38%
avg points 1.38
Tottenham without Ade this season
Games 8
Wins 7
Drawn 0
Lost 1
Goals scored 19
average scored 2.38
win percentage 88%
avg points 2.63
Thank you,it clarifies my earlier post
How does it?
Get The boy Yakubu or Kevin Davis in now
This doomsday preaching reeks of HH’s usual I love Ade…JD is shit. I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion. I think it has been clear before the ACN issue that we are short one body up front and it will be addressed fear not.
And I jolly well agree.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Even you!
Who is this Daimiao you talk of, you would think he was Jimmy Greaves second coming. That Dutch bloke playing for Manure looks good, maybe he his homesick
Adebayor is a quality striker so lets not kid ourselves, they all have their faults but we are not a top tier club,he nutted in the points against reading and we need him on board for as long as it works, they knew he might go to the ACoN,thats what happens when you sign good african players
we still need another striker anyway,we’ll miss adebayor against united i think but we got by at old trafford,if i was levy i’d be buying quality now, holtby seems like a good buy, plays on both wings they say, fryers young back up if they get moutinho, willian, dimebar or some other trickster then i’ll punch the air in delight come on levy get your effing cheque book out and gamble some moola
they might be spending Bale money for all we know,he is off to royal madrid in the summer ain’t he

Got forwarded a tweet from this account. @yougotlevyed Some of this stuff is great especially when freaking out over who will knock them into the net…..
#COYS
I completely agree that we should sign another striker, as only having two and none in reserve is stupid and risky. And I agree that he increases our chances of winning.
But to imply that all is lost because he’s absent is a tad over dramatic. We needed him most at the beginning of the season when we were down to the bare bones and out of shape. I’m hoping the gap left by Ade can be filled by some1 better.
I’m listening to The mothership connection at the moment, we need some one
who can dance to this.
Ade and Defoe has not been working. We have a good record without him. This is a real chance to blood Dempsey and Siggy in lineup together. I believe we will be fine–if everyone stays healthy. IF Defoe goes down we are toast.
It’s a terrible blow. I love Defoe but his success for us has been when we were in transition. When you look at an ideal 11 based on AVB tactics of optimization of possession and conversion of chances Adebayor has a critical role to play. Most critically the ball sticks to his foot. No one in our squad has that ability which is critical in away games to top teams or when we are facing periods of pressure in a game where its only a matter of time before we concede. And people do not understand how critical a good playmaker was for Ade’s great season last year. If we do get a world class playmaker he will make Ade that much better then his performances this year.
‘Optimization of conversion’! Have you swallowed the AVB book of English grammar? Have you seen Adebayor’s awful touch and inability to convert this term?
Couldnt agree more TMWNN. Adebayor couldnt control a bag of cement.
That would depend on how much money you offered him and how he was feeling at the time.
No more players from the scum. Once a gooner, always a gooner.
Most critically the ball sticks to his foot. Oh then, what I see every time he gets the ball and it runs ten yards from him is an optical illusion.
Habib, never allow the facts of the matter to get in the way of a person’s dislike. Despite the team only losing a solitary game when Ade played-it’s far easier to blame him and or Defoe,Daniel Levy for whatever the perceived problem is irrespective of whether we’re playing well, losing or even drawing occasionally. The strange thing is despite scoring three goals per game in the past three games, (which overlooks the possibility that the forwards are actually being effective from a team perspective) Whoever play’s upfront is a complete waste of time, and should be shot a dawn.
Ade’s a mercenary drawing a huge wage would rather suggest that Levy’s not so tight and our ‘wage cap’ isn’t as prohibitive as our habitual whiner suggests, and as the new contracts recently signed by Bale, Walker and Lennon would further indicate Levy’s acumen and desire to cement the clubs future-but as I said never allow the facts to get in the way of a personal grudge?
He was our top scorer last season so he earned his wage. And when everyone gives you the ball and you notice his one bad touch to his 4 good ones then I cant help anyone. Ade is the best striker on our roster and that’s that.
And how many times has he struck this season? An 88% win ratio without him in the side would suggest you’re wrong.
6 games liost-yes? Ade played in only 2 and a bit of them.Arsenal,Everton and Man City,so how on earth was he on the losing side in 5?
Not fussed about Adebayor going to Africa for a couple of weeks. If we did what’s been needed for over 3 seasons, i.e. buy two strikers, I’d like him to stay over there and for us to cash in on the midget.
It’s also telling that one fool is citing our current league placing as a reason to rest on our laurels, just as he did last year. Can someone tell the simpleton that the season ends in May, not January. Yes, we are doing well, but let’s not come up short again. As ever, we are a couple of players away from competing; won’t hold my breath that Levy and Co will do what’s necessary though.
have you found another decent site for watching footy yet
Unfortunately not, koj. Gutted that Bitscores got rumbled. Was worth every penny.
On paper it’s a disaster to only have 2 strikers and one goes off the ACN, but for me the reality isn’t that bad as his performances (Ade) haven’t been up to much so far this season. As mentioned by others, with Dempsey seemingly hitting some form it may be his time to shine behind Defoe and Siggy may get some more game time hopefully.
Townsend can play wide and perhaps Bale can drift into a more central role, if he replicates his performance against Villa then all is not lost.
We certainly do need another striker, that is a given, and hopefully DL will bring one in sooner rather than later. But with an out of salts Ade not having really contributed (those Sky stats are pretty interesting), I don’t think we need panic unless Defoe gets injured of course, then that could be a problem.
RVP got a couple of mentions – his goal against Wet spam in the Cup was sublime, if that pass from Giggs had gone to Ade he might have won a corner……….as ron said, his attitude sucks atm, perhaps a good ACN and he will return a different man
Ade is a total con artist, fooled AVB into thinking he was at odds with Togo while getting fit at the team’s expense and probably conned Togo into giving him extra wedge to go for a jolly to the ACN.The scum and s*itty got rid of this clown and we have landed another *****.Levy get this clown out asap.
Ade is alright to go by me. If we get no-one in just stick Bale up front and tell him to run about a bit.
The Eyeballer is not surprised with Ade – he is a mercenry, pure and simple – he couldn’t give two hoots about Spurs. Off with him. With a bit of luck we will get Damaio in, and he will hit the ground running, thus leaving Ade to sweat it out on the bench.
On the upside, Dempsey is coming into a bit of form, so every cloud…..
Defoe is great!
Pity Kane got injured when he did as he would have had more games under his belt, anyway, bring him back and play him if the club does not invest in a top striker.
It may not be merely a case of investment-there’s also availability and a desire to change clubs to consider as well–if only getting players was that simple? Well, it is if you’re a cyber manager holding your joystick in one hand I suppose?
and you would know
Can’t get them there games for my Babbage z120, with internet carrier pigeonmabob
yeah signed neymar for us the other day,35mill,100k a week, well worth it,hehe
I’m torn with Ade at the moment. I respect his wishes to go to the African Nations, its his country, they’d kick up a right stink if he didn’t. But as a player this season he is frustrating me. He was exactly the signing we needed last year and played really well. This year he has played ok his hold up play has been good and I was all for the 4-4-2, the goals have dried up a bit but they should come steadily. It’s his attitude that is riling me, the throwing the arms up when he doesn’t get his way, the walking back when we’re attacking and he’s in an offside position, I think the bloke is miffed at something, maybe it was Defoe but he can’t complain as he has had plenty of starts now without really reaching the peaks of last year, maybe its lack of goals, maybe its because his shots now seem to be weaker than my gran’s, just hit the f’ing thing man! not side foot it at the keeper!. In honesty I think he’s off at the end of the year, massively inflated wages are not Levy’s thing if he isn’t getting value and at the moment you’d say he’s not worth 120 grands worth a week.
I like Ade I really do but for some reason I don’t think we’ll miss him as much as we think providing Jermain ‘coming of age’ Defoe doesn’t snuff it and Clint is up for it which on recent showings he is. I think Ade may have signalled the end of his spurs career and I can see a move abroad coming sooner rather than later and probably going on to do a Kanoute and banging them in. It would be a shame but I can’t see him wanting to play second fiddle to whoever comes in and we need somebody, I hope its Dimebar, but I think he’s been injured recently so we will need all three for the rest of the season regardless. COYS! Oh yeah and when are we going to start getting pictures of random people getting out of cars at WHL, personal favourite last year was ‘ he’s big and black, its Doumbia’, Oh the fun
He’s thick ,he’s shi*e his wallet’s never light.
You’re right, he just does not have the hunger of last season, completely lost his first touch then throws the arms up as if no one understands me, or i’m disappointed at not controlling that ball.
I wanted him signed on a permanent contract but this is nowhere near the player in any shape or form who turned it on for for 5 months last season., some said be careful if you sign him he will revert to type, i thought don’t talk crap, he’s up for it, well i have to report I WAS COMPLETELY WRONG…..he is a mere shaddow of Last Seasons Ade.
Said it when he was signing for us,MONEY,he is a user, played out of his skin last year, for what, hoping citeh give him 200k a week, useless gooner scum, leave him in africa, waster,
MISSING
BLACK DOG’S TONGUE
Last seen entering a tight bald man’s tight rectum.
our under 21 strikers didnt do to bad so there is talent in the ranks.or cant we use them because of the 25 man rule
Never let the facts get in the way of being stupid.
Only lost once with Adebayor in the side? Try 5 times (according to the facts above).
We didn’t try to take Demba Ba off Newcastle last offseason when I though he was worth a shot. Yes one was a tap in but he did score a brace in his debut for Chelski…..
Sell Ade and Defoe bring in hulk and damioa sell hudd and Livermore bring in Willian and moutino COYS will win the league, shuda signed Suarez Harry red knapp didn’t rate him woulda been challenging 4 the league now
I disagree about Ade’s holiday being a disaster and here’s why(to reiterate):
Goals – 2
Assists – 0
Shots – 19
Corners – 1
Offsides – 6
He’ll be missed in what respect exactly? Maybe there’s no one better at keeping the ball on the wings to waste time towards the end of matches we’re winning, other than that, I say, as soon as possible, we get a big strong centre forward with a dangerous presence in the box who can head the ball as opposed to an expensive one who links play around the box fairly well. I’m looking forward to seeing a little more of Dumps & Sygg to see if they’re able to step up and prove their worth to the squad for next season.
Onwards & upwards.
