Good afternoon.

Roberto Soldado has left the building.

Earlier Erik The Half A Bee Lamela Tweeted a photograph of them tucking into some Michelin starred gruel, with a fare thee well type message attached.

The problem was, the club swiftly told him that it is they that make the announcements, not the help.

The Tweet was subsequently deleted.

The impending arrival of Njie has fans divided.

The scared of being a live club are utterly convinced that this kid will be a stellar signing.

I take a view that if you’re allowed to get over excited, I’m as allowed to get dispirited.

If he turns out to be a successful part of the whole Paul Mitchell black box thing, I’ll happily say I guessed wrong, and you guessed right.

For now, there is nothing vaguely tangible about any stats being wheeled out about this kid from a wholly inferior league.

In fact, if he was being bought by a club more successful than ourselves, he’d be a prime candidate to be loaned straight back out again.

Here’s a snap of our new boy, supposedly on his way in.

When asked if he was Tottenham bound, he laughed and said “Don’t say anything.”

We await a follow image of him being met at the airport by Jose Mourinho.
