Christ alive, don’t ask me. I would have never taken a Mousa Sissoko to Spurs rumour seriously. Not in a million years.
Despite that Thug Life Clown™ being a good buy in hire purchase terms – it’s an insane proposition in talent terms. Nobody sane could have possibly called it.
So why buy Zaha? Quite possibly for the very same reasons. If there is a deal to be done, then Spurs are very much open to a deal.
However, any enthusiasm for the now 24-year-old is extinguished by the fact that he really isn’t very good at playing football.
The Manchester United thing didn’t work and the Crystal Palace thing hasn’t worked either.
