10 O’Clocker: Kane Unsure Of Wembley

By The Boy -

Speaking of Wembley, Harry Kane said: “We are playing there on Thursday, hopefully we will get through. We have got to try and make it our home.”

We don’t know what we are doing next season – we could be there next season – so we want to make it as good for us as possible and win as many games as we can there and get that confidence going because we could be playing there a few times this season.

“The more the better. The more we play there, the further we will be going in competitions. It is important that we try to do that.”

‘Curiouser and curiouser!’ cried Alice (she was so much surprised, that for the moment she quite forgot how to speak good English); ‘now I’m opening out like the largest telescope that ever was! Good-bye, feet!’

Perhaps some credence to the charlady’s gossip, who knows?

A few weeks ago Glad said there was no contingency plan to start next season at The Lane, but Kane’s quote has to make us ask where else we might play?

There’s some pitifully blind ignorance amongst some of our support towards Milton Keynes but the options otherwise are Wembley which has proven itself to be a cold toilet and er… nothing.

Can Levy get the galley slave drummer to beat faster? Will the THST be able to take credit for a price cap on the new ketchup sachets?
